3ecologies visualizes a complex model of sustainability. within design and product development today, there are a variety of models for understanding and predicting the sustainability of human-made artifacts. Such models often focus on the environmental aspects of material resources and production process – however, human factors such as consumer behaviors, social practices, and personal decisions also impact sustainability. in this project, we develop a more holistic model of sustainability that takes into account three factors – environmental, sociological, and psychological.
